This sweet 7 year old is looking for his furever home and with the right match Dusty is the perfect companion.
Dusty can be a little timid meeting new people but turns into a purr machine when he gets his head scratched and will head bump you when he wants pets.
Dusty’s favourite hobbies include hanging out wherever you are, chasing anything on a string and napping ( he adorably sticks his tongue out when he sleeps) Dusty gets along with other cats but would connect best with an older feline friend with similar calm energy. Relaxing is key with Dusty and will thrive in an adult only household. Dusty is not the biggest fan of being picked up but he loves being on or around his favourite people and comes when you call his name.
Shortly after he came into our care, Dusty was diagnosed Heart changes consistent with early cardiomyopathy. The condition has been static in the period that he has been with Cats Cradle
He has been monitored very carefully with two cardiac ultrasounds and regular check ups. He has no symptoms and is on no medication. He is scheduled in a few months for another cardiac ultrasound which will be paid for by CCAR. Although this is a serious condition, he can live a long and healthy life.
