This stunning looking cat has never really trusted anyone, except perhaps her current foster home, and then only when she feels like it. She will tolerate other cats but is pretty dominant with them and will whack them if they get in her way, not hurting them. She will never be a lap cat, but she may become more social in the right environment. She was trapped as a local stray about three years ago and we did try her in a foster home initially but she hid all the time and the foster home was inexperienced in dealing with this. She is more confident now than she was but she will likely still hide. If you are a patient person who would like to look at this beautiful cat, but touch her only on her terms, consider a longer term foster for her and see if and how she develops socially.
