Hello my name is Bibo and I am a newcomer to Canada.
I was born in Afghanistan and lived with my previous owner on the UN compound in Kabul for a few happy years. During that time I got to explore outside every day and made human friends and admirers from all over the world. They still keep in touch with me to this day!
Unfortunately I got separated from my owner in 2021 and I ended up in a shelter in Kabul. Luckily I was evacuated along with lots of other cats and dogs by the SPCA international and I flew all the way to BC!
I’ve been in foster care since arriving to Victoria and I’d really love to find my forever family soon as I’m getting a little tired of travelling and I’d like to settle down.
I’m very chilled out and happy to go with the flow. I love other cats but I don’t mind if they don’t like me! Playing with toys is fun but my favourite activity is playing with other cats and exploring. I would do best in a home with another cat, and if I can spend some time outside under supervision I’d be really happy.
I am affectionate in my own special way and although I’m not a lap cat, I will greet you with a purr every morning and I’d like to curl up beside you in bed or on the couch if you’ll let me!
I hope to meet you soon,
PS, Bibo likes to sing the song of his people every morning (sometimes as early as 6). Please only apply for him if you (and your neighbours) are happy to have a conversation with him first thing. He is not vocal for the remainder of the day, but will greet you every morning with a “briefing”.
Please refer to CCAR ID# A22-183 when inquiring about Bibo.
