Auntie (aka Trouble, meant affectionately!) is a super cat who will adapt to just about any environment.
Trouble is a ‘need to know’ cat. If you’re doing something, she wants to be involved, especially if it’s something new and potentially exciting (to her). She is also very food motivated but manages her intake well. No issues with using the litter.
Trouble is fairly high energy and loves to chat, but also likes plenty of quiet/nap time, so there’s a good balance. She is very friendly and fun, and will reward your attention with big time smooches and “kisses”. She’s not that fond of being picked up, but doesn’t seem to mind being person-handled (i.e., for pets on your lap) and during her down time she is often happy to sit/sleep with you on the couch. She has a strong personality and sometimes has convenient memory loss when she hears the word “no”… but the only ‘bad’ thing she will do is help herself to any human food that’s left unattended (“and how is that my fault?” she will say!).
Trouble is best suited for a busy/family atmosphere. She is currently living with a young foster and is a dutiful mentor to her, but Trouble is definitely an alpha (the little one defers to her completely, see bio for Minnie) so it might need to be a similar situation if she is to have a companion.
