Sylvester has been Adopted !

"Wow, another cat almost as handsome as I am !"

He was brought up in what was widely believed to be a drug house and was often fed by the neighbours as he was starving and begging for food. When the house foreclosed, poor Sylvester still hung around in the hope that he would be cared for.

Ultimately a neighbour contacted Cat's Cradle Animal Rescue and asked us to take him. He has since received vet care and he's surprisingly healthy, except for a coat so badly matted that we had to have the matts cut out.

When his coat grows in, Sylvester will be a lovely looking slightly longer than short-haired boy with beautiful black and white markings. He is very friendly and affectionate; appears absolutely comfortable with dogs and will tolerate another cat, but this should be a female cat.

Update:

Sylvester has been adopted! Sylvester's foster dad was sad to see him go but glad he got a great permanent home.  We are all happy for Sylvester.
