Peaches has been Adopted !

"It would be peachy keen if you adopted me !"

I resemble a Persian but I’m better looking than those stuffy purebreds.  I’m soft and fluffy and hardly weigh anything at all.  I’m just a wisp of a girl, petite and sweet – a small peach parfait!   My beautiful ginger hair must be magnetic as it draws everyone to me – which is a good thing because I love-love-love petting. 

My story?  Well, I absolutely refused to stay at the Pound because, after all, I came from Royalty and it just wasn’t the place for someone with my background.  As you can see, I believe in “reframing” history to make it more positive.  Perhaps I’ll tell you that I was a movie star – or better yet that I was a model for Cat Fancy magazine!  It simply can’t be true that I was an ordinary abandoned stray.  It’s unfathomable that someone would have abandoned me!  So let’s pretend I was a making a movie and wandered from the set and got lost.  Yes, that must be how I ended up at the Pound.  Needless to say, I made such a scene at the Pound that they suggested I leave…

Cat’s Cradle brought me over to Beverly’s house and then to Linda’s house.  I shared a room with Henrietta and a couple of cool black cats.  A problem arose because those three wouldn’t accept me as the Queen of the room and give me the respect I deserved.  I found it quite annoying so I hissed at them if they came close and then growled a few warnings so they scattered and hid.  Weaklings, all of them!

I am now in one of Cat’s Cradle’s newest foster homes where I’m what they call an “only cat” and it suits me very well.  I love being the only feline and getting all the attention. 

I’m very affectionate and love cuddling.  I can sit in your lap for hours on end.  I want a life of luxury with lots of petting.  However, don’t put your face up close to mine as I find that intimating.  Just relax and let me luxuriate in your lap and it will be heavenly.

Update:

Nicole, foster mom to the lovely and elegant Peaches, has let us know that Peaches has "stolen her heart"!  Alas, she is adopting Peaches!  We regret losing another foster home to adoption BUT our priority is always to find a great home for each cat and this is a PURRfect home for Peaches!!
