Misty has been Adopted !

"Give me a few minutes -- I think I could like you !"

My name is Misty and I am a lovely all grey girl.  There aren’t many of us grey felines so I am quite special.  (I was named “Misty” as my hair color is reminiscent of a romantic mist….)  My fur is soft and velvety and I love petting so feel free to indulge to your heart’s content when you meet me (which I hope is soon).  I’m a little shy, so please allow me a little time to get to know you.

I came from a Pound situation where I was very, very scared and didn’t have much interaction with people. Honestly, I was shocked when I found myself in that cage!  Now, after living with two really great foster moms in cozy homes, I realize that I really do like affection – it’s definitely the cat’s meow! 

I love other cats and love to tease my foster mom's cat but then we snuggle up together and really like each other.  I’ve seen some cats who don’t get along with each other and I think they’re missing out on a lot of good times.  Life is too short for petty disagreements over territory, etc. 

My foster mom is my favourite person right now, BUT I’m looking for my very own permanent favourite person.  If you are in a relatively quiet place and will give me a week or two to get to know you and be comfortable with you, I would love to come home with you.  With just a little patience and nurturing, I promise you will have me as a friend for life.  SO – as we say at Cat’s Cradle, “Please have your people call my people!”

I'm at Pets West now and my roommate is Dixie. We are receiving visitors and hope that you will be one of them!
