"I'm a Beardie & need a home to call my own!"

This is a "courtesy post" for a dog that is currently in the care of a Bearded Collie Rescue group in the USA. Please call or email us for contact info.

This very sweet boy was seized by animal control during a raid on a puppy mill in Oregon.

He is now safely in a foster home and regaining his health.  He has been thoroughly examined and treated by the veterinarian and is improving daily.  He loves going for walks and is good on the leash, he has nice manners in the home, and gets along well with the resident Beardie. 

He follows the foster mom around and likes to stay close to her.  He is initially a bit shy when he meets strangers but comes around in time. He is, like a lot of Beardies, thunder sensitive.  It is not known if he has experience with children or cats. The foster home suggests perhaps a retired person, who enjoys a stroll daily, would be very suitable for this "retired" dog.  Maverick is not high energy and has been through a lot of neglected years.  Help us give this dog some quality years of love and attention.
