Granger's Story:

Hi, My name is Granger and you can tell from my photos that I’m lucky to be alive and able to present my resume for your perusal.  I’m a very formal cat – wearing my natural “tuxedo” black coat and tail with white socks and a little white ascot.  I was out on my own for awhile and somehow or other one night I got mugged while out-and-around and one thing led to another and I found myself homeless and bedraggled.  Luckily my tuxedo was not damaged – however, my head did not fare so well!

I’ve been avoiding mirrors while my scars heal – and I assure you they are.  It’s embarrassing, because I do like to look my best.  I’m not a “victim-type”, but I must tell you it really wasn’t my fault!  Soon the hair will grow in and I’ll be strikingly handsome once more.

I realize a lot of cats walk around in tuxedos so you may feel that I don’t stand out from the crowd.  Let me hasten to put that misconception to rest!  I am extremely good-natured and exceptionally affection.  Take a look at my photos!  I like to play and if you’ll come down on all fours I’d love to stand on your back.

I will do just about anything to get into your lap and enjoy quality lap time.  We must live life to the fullest.  The most important thing in all beings – whether human or feline – is a good personality and I am Mr. Congeniality.  Please look beyond these temporary (I hope) scars and see my inner beauty and downright cuteness.

I’m trying to be patient but I do hope you’ll hurry.  I don’t mind these other cats in my foster home and I probably wouldn’t even mind some kids around, but I do wish I could be adopted soon so we can get on with it – good times and lots of cuddling!

Update:

Granger desperately needs a foster home!  He craves attention, affection, and lap time and just isn't getting it at the moment.  He's lonely and needs a person to love - even temporarily. Please contact us if you can help out.

Update:

Granger has a wonderful new home with a woman who loves him very much.  Our friends at Pets West really came through for us once again with a great home for a guy who really needed one.
