Dolly is a kitten who will never grow up. She is about 2 years old but is very petite and cute. She was outdoors her whole life but begging to come inside. Now in her foster home she has the comforts of indoor life – good food, a warm chair, and a nice lap to sit in. When settled into a lap, she purrs loud and long! Dolly remarkably confident for her small size and is no push-over. She lets other cats know her boundaries and that they are to keep their distance. The only time she shows less than total confidence is when she hears a dog barking on TV. She is a light eater and likes to eat when no one is watching. She is a healthy girl and has recently been spayed. Dolly would do best as a total indoor cat at this point in her life. She was lucky enough to survive the elements for a couple or years, but we don’t want to push her luck. She would not be good with children as she let’s people know when she wants them to move away and some of her movements could be a bit quick and surprising for children. Dolly is a true beauty with long silky black fur and very long whiskers. She is absolutely adorable and you will love her. Update: Dolly has been adopted and gone to her new home with a wonderful woman who has been searching awhile and feels Dolly is exactly the right companion for her! This woman has rescued many, many cats over her lifetime and just moved here. Dolly's entire short lifetime has been outside and now she is in a cozy forever home! |
