The Diva's Story: |
|
The Diva is quite an exceptional feline and absolutely irresistible! She had a lovely home all her life, but her owners moved out of the country. They had no option but to leave Diva in the good hands of her lifetime vet who has entrusted us with finding a worthy home for her. Her vet has all of her medical records and can verify that she is very healthy. Diva is a white angora cat of great beauty with luxurious fur. She has one pastel blue eye and one pastel green eye. She is the softest, most feminine, and elegant cat you will ever meet. As you reach out to pet her, she lifts her front feet and brings her head up to your hand. Once she knows someone, she is cuddly and likes to sit in laps. Although Diva doesn’t have a problem with other cats, she retreats in their presence. She would be happiest and most comfortable as an affectionate and loving companion in a one-cat household. Children’s quick movements may be a bit boisterous for her as she prefers a peaceful environment. If there are no other cats in the room, she loves to come down and sit in her foster mom’s lap for extended periods. When Diva is adopted, she must first be kept in a small area of the house, such as one room, and then be gradually introduced to the rest of the house. She prefers one or two favorite spots in her foster home and especially likes being up high where she can reign like a queen. She prefers to eat alone and not with other cats. (She found it stressful to be introduced to an entire house at once and we now realize that she should be afforded a gradual introduction into a new home.) The Diva is sweet and loving and not aloof as her name might imply. She is happy in her foster home but we would love to see her start a new life in her own permanent home where she can get all the attention she so deserves. Update: We're surprised that Diva hasn't gotten any "action". She has looks and a terrific personality. It might be that she would prefer to be an "only-cat"? Some people already have a cat or two and want to add one more. At least Diva is having a great time with her foster family and they're enjoying her. Update: The Diva has been adopted! She is in a wonderful home where she is the center of attention which she dearly loves. |
