Darlene has been Adopted !

"Maybe if I don't turn around that other cat
 won't know that I'm here ?"

Darlene’s first foster home was with several dogs and she was terrified of them.  When moved to a home without dogs she flourished and is actually a very well-adjusted and calm girl who loves to sit on laps and purr.

Darlene does not mind other cats and, after a nose tap or two, more or less ignores them.  She is confident and would be content on her own if you are not home during the day.  However, as with most cats, if you are home most of the time – then all the better.  She is a beautiful calico and very friendly to all who meet her.

She is middle-aged and in good health.  Darlene is a short-haired cat who keeps herself immaculate so she is very easy to groom.    She is flexible and adapts easily to new surroundings.

Update:

Darlene has been adopted! She has been renamed "Dolly" and is in a super-duper wonderful forever home.  She and "Lucy" (Gloria) are together in this Dream Home.  We are so happy for them both!
