Clarissa is a gentle soul who appreciates strokes, affection and any kind of attention. She was abandoned in an apartment after her owner left but despite this trauma, she is a quiet, laid back young lady who would be a great companion to almost anyone. She would prefer not to be around too many cats, but one or two would be fine and she tolerates dogs. She looks older than 5 years, perhaps because she is a bit portly which is the result of her being caged for two months with minimal exercise and nothing to do but eat. The vet says she is in extremely good health and particularly commented on how good her teeth are. If you would like a cat who loves to quietly sit in your lap for long periods, do consider Clarissa. Update: Clarissa is in a loving foster home; her foster mom says that Clarissa likes to "kiss" people and lick their hands and arms (to help keep them clean.) She keeps herself immaculately groomed and her coat condition is first class. Update: Clarissa has found a wonderful home in a charming farm house in Sooke where she can be the sole reigning monarch and get all the attention she deserves! |
