Buster has been Adopted !

Let me tell you about myself and then I’d like to hear about you because I’m a great listener.  I am a strikingly handsome cat – tall, dark, and handsome with long legs.  Although I have rather common markings of black with white accents, I’m not a common cat at all!  I am exceptionally easy-going and laid back.  I am well-adjusted and congenial. 

I’m confident, affectionate, and friendly.  I respect people who are the same.  I’m happy and flexible and you can pet me any time.  However, when it comes to lap time I’d like to ask a small favor.  Until I know you better, I’d prefer to be the one to initiate!  If you give me a little time, I’ll happily pounce into your lap.  I like to stand up in a person’s lap – sitting is for a little later.  What’s the rush anyway – in a permanent home we’ll have all the time in the world to bond. 

I get along well with other cats.  The really dominant ones are jealous of my laid-back personality and no matter how I try to avoid them – they try to dominate me.  I hate those bullies!  If you have another easy-going cat, I’d be happy to have him or her as a roommate.  I could even consider living with well-behaved kids.  But if you’re putting up with one of those bullies at your house, then I’d rather pass and wait my turn for a peaceful environment. 

Cat’s Cradle is taking me to the nice Dr. Wilson for much-needed dental surgery on May 20.  My mouth has been uncomfortable for quite some time, so I’m grateful that they are providing this.  After my dental work I’d love to have you make a date with me for sharing those treats! 

Update:

Buster has been adopted by his foster dad.  Buster is having a great time in his new permanent home.  He loves hanging out with his "dad" and particularly enjoys traveling with him to new places.  It is a perfect match and we are thrilled for both of them!
