Belle has been Adopted !

"I'm elegant and exotic !"

Belle is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet.  She is a lovely, elegant, sleek and silky black cat with lynx type ears.  Her face shape is similar to Siamese.

Her owner traveled a lot and couldn’t spend time with her so she was left at a vet’s office in hopes of finding a new home. 

Belle is enjoying her foster home and walks around gracefully stretching in ballerina poses!

She is affectionate and loves to rub by people and be petted.  She gets along with other cats, but when with them she lets them take over the attention of the humans.  When an “only cat” she loves to jump in laps and cuddle and purr.

Belle is a light eater and is very well behaved and quiet. 

She paws at the bedroom door at night, so we think she would love to sleep with someone she bonds with.

She would be perfect for someone who works all day, as she would wait patiently in one of her favorite spots (usually a comfy chair) and then meet them at the door ready for dinner and quality time together.

Belle would, of course, also be perfect for someone home all day, as she loves being around people in a quiet setting –sometimes sitting in their lap and sometimes sitting in a chair next to them.

"Belle is now in a foster home she shares with a very nice older dog.  She is doing well with the dog.  She doesn't play with him but does walk up and sniff him from time to time and they sometimes go together to meet Belle's foster mom at the door.

Belle likes a quiet setting and is friendly to guests who come by for brief visits, but more noise or groups of people stress her out a bit.  She is a very healthy but gentle and quiet cat who prefers to be in a one-cat household, perhaps with one or two people and would accept a fairly calm dog. "
